Previous history on the site –14/2585/MFUL 31 dwellings with associated roads, sewers, landscaping, parking and garages. This application was the third application by Wainhomes for this site. It replaces the proposed community building with more housing, and adds extra housing around the edge of the original application site allowed on appeal. Refused by delegated powers
Planning Application No: 13/0591/MFUL This application for 83 dwellings was Phase 2 of Wainhome’s scheme. It is on good agricultural land, and is in excess of the housing requirement for Feniton, which has been seriously affected by flooding in 2012& 2013. Local schools and GP surgeries are already at capacity. Transport links are poor. East Devon CPRE objected to this application, which was refused. It was dismissed at a conjoined Appeal together with the 2 applications at Ottery Road, Feniton. Acland Park, Feniton, was allowed at the same Appeal. Appeal APP/U1105/A/13/2200204
