At the Hatherleigh Fun Day – 27th August 2017

We really enjoyed having a stand at the Hatherleigh Fun Day this year.  It was a beautiful day and lots of people came and enjoyed the afternoon.   It is an annual Bank Holiday event organised by the Hatherleigh Rotary Club and Hatherleigh Cricket Club, in aid of Devon Air Ambulance.  As well as running our ‘Guess Where’ Devon photo competition which received a lot of interest and entries, we raised awareness of the local current planning application in Runnon Moor Lane for 80 new houses on green fields outside the town to which we have objected.  We also promoted the local Exeter to Okehampton railway campaign – to bring back a full passenger service on the line which we fully support.
