News from Mid Devon – Housing proposal refused. June 2021

We are delighted that the application for 179 new houses at Tidcombe Hall, Tiverton was unanimously refused by Mid Devon District Council Planning Committee, in line with the planning officer’s recommendation of refusal. The local planning authority had received over 400 objections from local people and organisations, including ourselves, and not a single letter of support.

And more good news from Mid Devon – the application for 22 dwellings on the allotments at Tumbling Field Lane, Tiverton, has also been refused. We had also objected to this application.
