The Chagford Show. August 2019

The weather was kind on the day, and it was fantastic to meet so many people at the Show. The Chagford Show really is a wonderful day out, highlighting so many great things about rural life in such a beautiful setting.

We had a record entry of entries into our Devon photo competition this year – thank you to all those who visited our stand and took part. There were joint winners, who both achieved 10 out of 12 correct answers, and a Devon Orchards Book has been posted to both winners as the prize. Congratulations! Its a simple competition – 12 photos of different locations in Devon. But so far each year, no one has achieved full marks! We promised to publish the answers , and they are:
1.Ilfracombe
2.Fernworthy
3.Dittisham
4.The Met Office
5.Exeter Cathedral
6.Buckfast Abbey
7.Wistmans Wood
8.Wembury
9.Brixham
10.Star Cross
11.Hatherleigh
12.Roadford Lake

See you at next year’s Show!
