Please sign and share our petition to stop 2,700 acre mega solar site coming to Devon
The plan to cover 2,700 acres (more than 4 square miles) of Devon farmland in the heart of the countryside at Holsworthy Beacon with solar panels and batteries would be one of the largest solar farms in Europe, if built.
As a ‘Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project’, the plan will not be approved by the local community or its elected councillors; it will be approved only by the government. Unless we all, across Devon and beyond, tell the government that enough is enough. This is a massive project that is not needed to meet Net Zero targets, but is designed to make huge profits for investors at the expense of our landscape and farmland.
