100m high wind turbine permitted

Torridge District Council have permitted the application for a 100m high wind turbine in the countryside at Hollacombe near Winkleigh. We had objected to the proposal because the impact on the landscape would be unacceptable and is much greater than is necessary to provide a maximum power output of 500 kw. So this is a very disappointing decision.
