At short notice, I’ve been selected to stand as a Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for next year’s General Election. A once in a lifetime opportunity I didn’t want to miss. To avoid any possible perceived conflict of interest, I am stepping down with immediate effect as Chairman of CPRE Devon on a temporary basis until after the election, and the Executive Committee will shortly make arrangements for a replacement.
